After twenty-two years as an administrative assistant for a law office in East Tennessee, Kay attended the University of Tennessee where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics and Transportation in 1994. Bowling Green became her home in 1998, where she worked for thirteen years for a major apparel manufacturer as a sales and forecast analyst before retiring in 2011.
Kay’s personal life is filled with keeping up with the ever-changing lives of her three children and four grandchildren. She loves being with friends, working in her flower garden, and spoiling her cat, Fu Man Chu. She also stays busy being a member of the Commonwealth Health Community Relations Committee, the President’s Club, and Broadway United Methodist Church.
